The TouchDown Dance 2 Walk campaign has been created to
raise awareness of Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and funds for Activity Based Training
Approximately 1,462,220 people
live with spinal cord injury (SCI)
and 17,500 new cases
are diagnosed every year.
Spinal cord injury (SCI) is
damage to any part of the spinal cord,
or nerves, at the end of the spinal canal.
SCI often causes paralysis that changes the strength, sensation and other body functions below the site of the injury.
Lauren Shevchek, our inspiration for this campaign, is currently living life as a quadriplegic, but recovering movement through Activity-Based Training
